Woken up into a twisted nightmare of a world!

Well I knew yesterday really but point holds not my idea of a great signing, the guy seems to be a complete fud and not sure he even that much of a player to even think about putting up with the baggage. If he does well most people will at least bite there tongue but a pretty unpopular signing nonetheless.

Blazing row(well ish)

Had a bit of a barney at the football with one of the guys I sit beside and play football with, which is most unlike me as I did lose my temper. I wanted to swing for him, but a pacifistic nature and the some what public nature of this bit of girly squabbling held me back.

I have to admit I was trying to wind him up, but only in traditional matey banter style badinage that we as a group, hell as a gender participate in. I clearly misread the signs to the mood of the moment and while my comments might not have been welcome I never said anything offensive or downright nasty. Well certainly not before I lost my temper, and even then afterwards I think I restricted myself to shouting get fuck out of my face, and aggressively posturing in a slightly mollifying Bill Hicks style pushing someone away while shouting come here. Not quite grasping fundamental physics. He on the other hand started getting personal, to point where I now have a dilemma as quite frankly in truth I still want to kill him, my opinion of him has went right downhill but yet I still have to deal with him on a regular basis. The mature part of me says I should maybe just write it of to unfortunate words wrongly chosen and no real ill will meant, put it all the past and forget about it.

However despite best efforts the chosen words remain said and while I might be able to on the face of it do that deep down I still think there will be an ember burning. I htink the best I'll manage is an aloof civility. We shall see how things unfold.

First person shooters, normal or inverted mouse?

Been playing Halo 3 on X-box 360, I don't know if it's the knock out classic some would suggest but I quite like it so far, anyway I started playing it and found the controls a bit awkward it wasn't intuitive on the gamepad. A pc is generally far superior for this kind of game with mouse and keypad but I found that inverting the aim on Halo 3 made it far better and a decent gaming experience. However on pc games I played like Half Life and Counterstrike I found an inverted mouse completely unplayable. It just struck me as odd and wondered if anyone else had same experience?

Eccentricity

If the world is a fucked up and twisted place and the role of psychologists is to enable one to function suitably within societies confines, does that not make that a truly sick and perverse profession?

That wasn't what I was really thinking about when I first went to post, was thinking of some of my own personality quirks. my sister is up at the house just now and well I get on with my sister well enough but it makes me ill at ease. Less comfortable in my own skin, not really sure why that is. I don't see her that often these days, but I find our family unit small those it is has always been and remains not distant but disjointed.

football last night

The kind of game that makes you question your sanity for bothering with it all, humped out of cup to lower league opposition at home displaying all the resilience of a patch of snow with grit thrown on top of it, melted away with minimal resistance. It was almost a certainty, every other time we have a half decent draw in the next round of the cup waiting for us we have blown it is as well I shouldn't be surprised.

Can buying a badge make a difference?

Well possibly not, but you have to admire the optimism.

Fucking about

It's a bit untidy and a bit unfinished but thought I'd some tunes. I'll try and tidy it up in future but don't hold your breath. As for the repeat of the Clash song I'm blaming the website I used to create the playlist it was on there twice I deleted one of them and yet lo and behold I go and add in the code to put it on my blog and it's back.

Ah well I'll tweak my playlist later. I'll listen to any requests but no promises.

Greedy arsehole(s)!

Despite the fact that this guy has been reported to the police and asked to pay back a whack of expenses he thinks now is a good time to suggest that sixty thousand a year for a back bench MP isn't enough and that something in the region of eighty to one hundred thousand would be more appropriate. The gall of the man is quite impressive, its like he is saying "yes I am a greedy bastard and proud of it, baaa tis what it means to be British," while thumping his chest at same time no doubt.

Clearly wasn't enough for him, though by god his sons must have been some really good researchers £11,773 a year for an 18 hour week seems decent enough, no need for student loans in this family but they were so good they earned four ten grand bonuses for their work. The constituents of Old Bexley and Sidcup must think themselves really lucky. Travelling back from studying at Newcastle University at weekends all the way to London, now there is a work ethic to be proud of. Perhaps the bonuses were for travel expenses?

He complained that he earned more as the Chief Executive of the Cats Protection League, if I was high up the CPL I'd be rechecking the accounts, well as a cat lover I'm pleased to hear they can pay that kind of wage I just hope whoever has the job now is earning their keep and cat welfare up and down the country should be fine. Thing is if all you are concerned about is money then in my opinion you are likely to be a twat of an MP. In my view MP's earnings should be linked to the wage and or living standards of the average citizen and while £60k a year might pale in comparison to the chief exec post of a charity run to protect the nations moggies I wouldn't think it wouldn't leave you short, indeed when you add in the fact you can hire the whole family to run your office I daresay household income is not likely to be a concern.

This clown however much of a crook or poor scapegoat whatever view you happen to take is clearly wired to the moon.
